Can I get a perm?

This treatment is only possible for untreated hair. Bleached hair is not suitable. Gentle curls can usually only be achieved on hair up to the lower chin line and from about a hand's width in length.

Is a perm damaging?

We only offer a very mild perm, which we call "permanent hair reshaping". These waves are long-lasting but will lose intensity over time as they grow out.

Is there anything else to consider with a perm?

To keep your hair healthy, we recommend using hair masks. After a perm, your hair is permanently reshaped and needs time for care and styling.

I'd like to have a consultation first, without a cut or color. Is that possible?

Of course! This service costs CHF 45. If you book an appointment within the next 3 weeks, the consultation fee will be deducted from the total amount.

Do I have to make an appointment?

An appointment is ideal because we work by appointment and want to take our time with you. But spontaneous visits are also welcome; we'll try to fit you in on the same day or find an alternative.

What is a Keratin Straightening Treatment?

The keratin treatment smooths, strengthens, and nourishes your hair with natural keratin protein. It's perfect for frizzy or curly hair and gives you long-lasting shine. Color changes are possible, but can be balanced out with a toner after 10 days. Using special products for aftercare is important for the best results.

Is a Keratin Straightening Treatment bad for your hair?

No, when done correctly with high-quality products, it's not damaging. In fact, it can strengthen and smooth your hair. However, proper aftercare and a personalized consultation for pre-damaged hair are important.

What's a hot scissors haircut and who is it good for?

When we cut your hair with hot scissors, it seals the ends to stop split ends from forming. It's perfect for anyone with brittle hair, split ends, or if you just want long, healthy hair.

What's a split end cut?

With this, we only remove the split ends, so your hair length stays exactly the same.

What's the Steam Mask?

The Steam Mask is a super intense hair treatment that really strengthens your hair deep down, makes it easy to comb, and gives it an amazing shine. It's much more powerful than a regular mask, all thanks to steam technology.

Are your products suitable for sensitive scalps?

Yes, our products are really gentle, and we've had great results with them. But since everyone's scalp reacts differently, you're welcome to bring your own products if you prefer – we're totally flexible about that.

Are your products compatible with henna-colored hair?

In most cases, yes! But since henna can react differently for everyone, if you're unsure, we recommend just bringing your products with you to your appointment. That way, we can figure out the best solution for your hair together.

Does bleaching damage your hair?

Bleaching can be tough on your hair, especially if you do it often. But with good care and professional application, we can definitely keep the damage to a minimum.

Can I bleach my hair if it's already colored or chemically treated?

It's possible, but we'll check your hair's condition beforehand to avoid any damage. It's really important to have a chat with us before your appointment.

How do I properly care for bleached hair?

Use specially designed care products, like Liebevoll Silver Shampoos and Liebevoll Keratin Mask, to keep your hair healthy and shiny.

How do I keep my blonde fresh?

Regular touch-ups with glossing will give you more shine and help maintain a cool tone.

What should I do if I have a sensitive scalp or allergies?

Inform us before treatment. We offer mild products and recommend a patch test if you are unsure.

What's included in the wedding package?

The package includes a consultation, up to two trial appointments, preparation (hair wash and blow-dry the day before), and your hairstyle on the wedding day. Home service is generally possible; it's free within Basel City. For Basel Land or other cantons (as well as Germany and France), home service is available upon request for an extra charge. Make-up can be booked optionally. Please ask about availability well in advance.
